Crystallization and phase transformation behaviors of Ti45Cu40Ni7.5Zr4Sn2.5Si1 bulk metallic glass composite with B2 particles were investigated by isothermal heat treatment with systematic TEM analysis. The crystallization of the amorphous phase occurs in two steps with the formation of nanocrystalline followed by the precipitation of gamma-TiCu phase. On the one hand, the metastable B2 phase still maintained until crystallization process is completed. However, when the sample was heat treated longer times, the cubic B2 phase are transformed into the tetragonal gamma-TiCu phase with highly lattice distortion. (C) 2016 Published by Elsevier B.V.
