The texture and acidity of HZSM-5 zeolite catalysts with Al2O3, and halloysite aluminosilicate nanotubes as binders were studied. The stability and catalytic activity of the catalysts were studied for conversion of dimethyl ether into hydrocarbons. Compared to Al2O3 use of halloysite redistributed the products toward formation of C-5-C-8 hydrocarbons.
