Statistical analysis, after cone correction, on X3PMIDLINE HORIZONTAL ELLIPSISO and X4PMIDLINE HORIZONTAL ELLIPSISO pnicogen bonds suggests that the angle X-PMIDLINE HORIZONTAL ELLIPSISO prefers linearity and the linearity is more prominent in the case of X3PMIDLINE HORIZONTAL ELLIPSISO. With an increase in the electronegativity of X, the preference for linearity also increases.
