The Evaporation of Water Drops on Roughness Surfaces at Heat Transfer Crisis

An study of water drop evaporation during the heat transfer crisis on substrates with different roughness was presented. The total evaporation time of the drops on a high temperature wall was studied. A change in the droplet volume leads to a change in the Leidenfrost temperature. The structured wall decreases the total evaporation drop time.
