Core-shell nanoparticles (NPs) became the focus of scientific research in recent years. The design and controllable structures of nanocomposites with core-shell structure become increasingly important research fields at the forefront of materials science recently. In this paper, a series of templates for preparation of core-shell structure such as monodisperse silica (SiO2) NPs and PVP-coated low-cross linked polystyrene (PS) NPs were successful synthesized. In order to further study the key conditions for the formation of core-shell structure, we further prepared Fe3O4@SiO2 nanoparticles. The good properties of the core-shell structure in the field of catalysis, gas separation and biomedicine have a good prospect.
