We present a taxonomic revision ofParahypatropisGrazia and Fernandes, 1996, with the description of two new species:Parahypatropis occultatasp. nov. andParahypatropis similissp. nov. The generic diagnosis ofParahypatropisis modified to accommodate the new species. Also,Prolatucoris mandibulatusgen. et sp. nov. is described. Comparative illustrations of genitalia, a distributional map of the described species, and a key to species ofParahypatropisare provided.
