The synthesis of various compounds of titanium ceramics was carried out using mechanical alloying. In the course of mechanical alloying, phases such as titanium oxynitride, titanium nitroboride, and more were discovered. Also, during the machining process, titanium carboxy nitride was synthesized, the strength of which exceeds the strength of diamond. The analysis of the material was carried out using X-ray powder diffraction and XPS. (C) 2019 Elsevier Ltd. All rights reserved.
