Left-handed material (LHM) is also known as the double negative medium. This paper put forward a novel structure of LHM with equal magnetic and electric resonance frequency, and it realized the overlap between electric and magnetic resonant frequency according to structure element coplanar coupled. After simulation, we find that the novel structure material has the advantages of low resonant frequency, wide frequency band, simple structure, easy to adjust, and analysis. By adjusting the parameters and distance of unit cell, we can make the electric resonant frequency equal to magnetic resonant frequency, so that the LHM will reach the maximum value.
