Increasing a participation of distributed energy resources exposes the market to possible double counting of generated renewable electricity. It could also slow down financial settlement between multiple parties with heterogeneous generation capacities. A dynamic and transparent energy market, that also guarantees security, privacy, and integrity of data and transactions, - is required for smart grids.
