Dengue hemorrhagic fever is an endemic disease that transmission from Aedes mosquitos bites. The epidemic disease of dengue fever in an area is caused highest dengue virus vector population, it was bolstered up by water container as oviposition site of Aedes aegypti at difference position (indoor and outdoor). The objective was to study oviposition behavior of A. aegypti in difference colors container at Mataram City. This research was explanatory in cross-section design. Based on that data eggs collection were known oviposition behavior of the mosquito, it was attracted to dark color water container at the indoor and outdoor position. The difference of color water container and position were the significant difference, it found significant difference dark color of water container at an indoor position with bright and white color water container, and significant difference with dark, bright and white color at outdoor position. A aegypti Oviposition was developed as population control based on the water containers colors. Therefore, this study indicates that different colors of container is affected by oviposition behavior of A aegypti into the breedin site area.
