This letter addresses the problem of phase-only antenna beampattern synthesis. With the given magnitudes of the weight vector, we introduce a scaling factor to accurately represent the shape constraints on both the mainlobe and sidelobe regions. Moreover, we derive an iterative optimization method to solve the resultant optimization problem efficiently. The performance of the proposed method is demonstrated via numerical examples.
