One of the best choices to overcome power transfer efficiency (PTE) reduction in the long distance is using wireless power relay transfer (WPRT) systems. In this paper, the theoretical analysis of the WPRT systems was performed based on the equivalent lumped circuit theory (ELCT) and a novel flexible model for WPRT systems with N-2 repeaters was presented. Additionally, to optimize the WPRT system, a new optimization process was proposed using genetic algorithm (GA). Moreover, this procedure was executed based on the proposed model and the GA optimization technique on the WPRT systems was implemented with one, two and three repeaters for cases R-S = 0 Omega and R-S = 50 Omega. Calculation and simulation results show that depending on the WPRT structure, the optimized PTE of the WPRT would be around 94-99 %.
