Does importance influence confidence in organic food attributes?

Kofi Britwum et al.

Summary: Studies have shown that consumers have a higher willingness to pay for organic foods compared to conventional ones. However, consumers tend to rate the importance of organic attributes higher than their confidence in those attributes. Higher importance ratings are found to significantly increase confidence, which in turn influences consumers' willingness to pay for organic foods.
