Effects of perennial aromatic grass species richness and microbial consortium on soil properties of marginal lands and on biomass production

Summary: The study investigated the effects of perennial grass species richness levels and a consortium of three bacteria on soil properties and grass biomass production. Specific changes in soil properties were observed with different combinations of four perennial aromatic grass species. The highest soil improvements and biomass production were found at two species richness levels of vetiver and lemongrass.
