By the sensitization effect of metallophthalocyanines showing similar to 980 nm emission to an erbium complex, a remarkably long average lifetime of 1.05 ms and an optimal PLQY of 13% with a sensitization efficiency of 81 for the Er3+ 1.54 mu m emission are obtained in a perfluorinated organic erbium co-doped system.
