Extraglottic Airway Device Misplacement: A Novel Classification System and Findings in Postmortem Computed Tomography

Summary: The study aimed to establish a classification system for extraglottic airway device misplacement and describe its frequency in decedents with the device in situ. Results showed that misplacement occurred in over 14% of cases, with a small percentage resulting in severe traumatic complications.
