Rational design of self-supported Cu@WC core-shell mesoporous nanowires for pH-universal hydrogen evolution reaction

Summary: In this study, Cu@WC core-shell nanowires were successfully fabricated and showed excellent performance in hydrogen evolution reaction. The core-shell structure increased the carrier density of WC and formed strongly delocalised electrons under external potential.
