Engineering topological phase transition and Aharonov-Bohm caging in a flux-staggered lattice

Amrita Mukherjee et al.

Summary: The research shows that a topological phase transition can be achieved by controlling the variation of magnetic flux and tuning the applied magnetic field. This simulation in the SSH model allows for an engineering of numerical values of overlap integrals. Additionally, tuning the flux from outside can enhance the spatial extent of single particle states, which is useful for the study of quantum information transport.
