In this study, 8-Aroyl-3,4-dihydropyrrolo[2,1-c][1,4]oxazine-1,6,7(1H)-triones reacted with 3-(arylamino)-5,5-dimethylcyclohex-2-en-1-ones to yield 3'-aroyl-1-aryl-4'-hydroxy-1'-(2-hydroxyalkyl)-6,6-dimethyl-6,7-dihydrospiro[indole-3,2'-pyrrole]-2,4,5'(1H,1'H,5H)-triones, and the product structure was confirmed by X-ray analysis.
