Synthesis of a carbon dots modified g-C3N4/SnO2 Z -scheme photocatalyst with superior photocatalytic activity for PPCPs degradation under visible light irradiation

Daguang Li et al.

Summary: This study successfully synthesized a CDs/g-C3N4/SnO2 photocatalyst with excellent photocatalytic activity, and demonstrated that the presence of CDs significantly enhanced the degradation rate of IDM. Moreover, the generation of CDs/g-C3N4/SnO2 photocatalyst was mainly attributed to the unique optical and electronic properties of CDs.
