Indigenous bacteria, an excellent reservoir of functional plant growth promoters for enhancing duckweed biomass yield on site

Summary: This study demonstrates that customized plant growth-promoting bacteria can enhance the biomass production of duckweed in wastewater. Indigenous wastewater bacteria, such as Chryseobacterium strains, play a crucial role in promoting the growth of duckweed. Additionally, nitrogen limitation is identified as a key environmental factor that induces the inhibitory behavior of certain bacteria towards duckweed growth.
