A highly sensitive ion selective electrochemical sensor amplified with ionic liquid for determination of lanthanum ion in real water samples

Esmat Shojaei et al.

Summary: In this study, a new and cheap potentiometric sensor was developed for the measurement of lanthanum ion in water samples. The sensor showed high accuracy and sensitivity, which was validated by theoretical calculations and experimental results. The optimization of electrode components using experimental design reduced the cost and time of electrode optimization. The application of the sensor to real samples demonstrated its effectiveness in determining lanthanum ion with high recovery rate.
