Ship- and island-based atmospheric soundings from the 2020 EUREC4A field campaign

Summary: Two meteorological data collection projects conducted observations in the western tropical Atlantic in January and February 2020, collecting a large amount of data on the interplay among clouds, convection, and circulation. By launching upper-air radiosondes, changes in atmospheric pressure, wind speed, temperature, and other parameters were recorded, providing rich data support for investigating the role of clouds-circulation coupling in climate change.
