Summary: Quantum information processing based on Rydberg atoms has shown promising potential over the past two decades, with recent advances in experimental and theoretical research shedding new light on this direction. Applications of Rydberg atoms in neutral atom quantum computation and simulation are expanding, and discussions on quantum optics with Rydberg atomic ensembles are increasingly being used to explore quantum computation and simulation with photons.
