The effect of sintering temperature on structural, dielectric and ferroelectric properties of 0.80BaTiO(3)-0.20PbZrO(3) was investigated. The material was synthesized by solid-state reaction method and sintered at different temperatures like 1200, 1225, 1250, 1275 and 1300 degrees C for 4 hours. All the samples were subjected to X-ray diffraction (XRD) analysis and found to have single phase orthorhombic perovskite structure. Dielectric behavior was studied as a function of frequency and temperature. The ferroelectric properties were also investigated by recording the PE hysteresis loops of all the samples at room temperature.
