A rapid ratiometric fluorescent probe for dipicolinic acid detection was developed using an 18-metal Eu(iii) nanoring constructed with two polydentate organic ligands, demonstrating high sensitivity and selectivity.
One 18-metal Eu(iii) nanoring (size: 1.0 x 2.7 x 2.7 nm) was constructed as a rapid ratiometric fluorescent probe for the detection of dipicolinic acid with high sensitivity and selectivity, by using two types of polydentate organic ligands.
