Dendritic Mesoporous Silica Nanospheres: Toward the Ultimate Minimum Particle Size for Ultraefficient Liquid Chromatographic Separation

Zhanchen Guo et al.

Summary: The use of nanomaterials like n-octyl-modified monodispersed dendritic mesoporous silica nanospheres (DMSNs) with small diameter and appropriate pore size has shown great potential in improving separation efficiency in liquid chromatography. The unique morphology of DMSNs allows for highly uniform packing and ultrahigh efficiency, making them a promising candidate for next-generation packing materials. The introduction of DMSNs has opened up new possibilities for achieving ultraefficient liquid chromatographic separations.
