Summary: Entropy measure and similarity measure are important techniques in the environment of fuzzy set theory, while q-ROFS and complex FS are new extensions widely used in various fields. This article investigates EM and TOPSIS method based on correlation coefficient, and compares the approaches and drawbacks to distinguish highly similar but inconsistent Cq-ROFS. Illustrative examples are used to validate the advantages of the established work in managing firewall selection and security evaluation of computer systems against previous decision-making methods.
