A Nanozyme-Based Artificial Peroxisome Ameliorates Hyperuricemia and Ischemic Stroke

DNA-copper hybrid nanoflowers as efficient laccase mimics for colorimetric detection of phenolic compounds in paper microfluidic devices

Summary: DNA-copper hybrid nanoflowers prepared through self-assembly of DNA and copper ions exhibit laccase-mimicking activity, with guanine-rich ssDNA and copper phosphate nanoflowers showing the highest catalytic activity. These nanoflowers have similar Km but 3.5-fold higher Vmax compared to free laccase, and demonstrate enhanced stability. They can be used for colorimetric detection of phenolic compounds and catalytic decolorization of dyes, showing potential for biosensing and bioremediation applications.
