Reduction of the sintering temperature and dielectric loss of the CCTO ceramic by doping tellurite glass

Jiayuan Tang et al.

Summary: By using TBZCBS glass as an additive, low dielectric loss CCTO ceramics can be fabricated at a low sintering temperature. The study shows that the sintering temperature and loss tangent value of TBZCBS-doped CCTO ceramics can be significantly reduced, and the electric properties are related to the amount of TBZCBS glass.

Summary: The structural and electrical parameters of CaCu2.90Ni0.10Ti4-xGexO12 ceramics were studied using solid-state reaction approach, revealing the significant improvement in dielectric permittivity and low loss tangents with the addition of Ge4+ ions, mainly due to an internal barrier layer capacitor effect.

Colossal permittivity of (Gd plus Nb) co-doped TiO2 ceramics induced by interface effects and defect cluster

Zhenzhu Cao et al.

Summary: (Gd + Nb) co-doped TiO2 (GNTO) ceramics exhibit giant dielectric permittivity and low dielectric loss, with good temperature and frequency stability. The results suggest that internal barrier layer capacitance effect, electrode effect, and electron-pinned defect-dipole effect contribute to the colossal permittivity property simultaneously.

Colossal dielectric permittivity, reduced loss tangent and the microstructure of Ca1-xCdxCu3Ti4O12-2yF2y ceramics

Jakkree Boonlakhorn et al.

Summary: Ca1-xCdxCu3Ti4O12-2yF2y ceramics were successfully prepared via solid-state reaction, showing significantly enlarged grain sizes with increased dopant levels, while maintaining high dielectric permittivities and reduced loss tangents. The enhanced grain boundary response may be a primary cause of the improved dielectric properties in the doped ceramics.
