Simultaneous tunable fluorescence lifetime and upconversion luminescence enhancement of NaLuF4:Er3+/Yb3+microcrystals through heavily doped KF for multiplexing

Aihua Zhou et al.

Summary: The strategy of doping KF in NaLuF4 enhances upconversion luminescence and tunable fluorescence lifetime, resulting in significantly improved green and red upconversion luminescence intensities. The fluorescence lifetime of NaLuF4 can be tuned in a wide range, with seven different fluorescence lifetimes ranging from 87.44 μs to 285.47 μs.
