Summary: A multifunctional hydrogel with conductivity, adhesiveness, toughness, self-healing and anti-swelling properties was successfully prepared by adding HACC to the PAA/Fe3+ cross-linking system. The hydrogel exhibited excellent mechanical properties, self-healing efficiency, anti-swelling properties, and adhesiveness, making it a promising candidate for flexible sensor applications. The introduction of iron ions provided sensitive conductivity, enabling direct monitoring of various motions.

A bone regeneration strategy via dual delivery of demineralized bone matrix powder and hypoxia-pretreated bone marrow stromal cells using an injectable self-healing hydrogel

Summary: The study introduced a dual delivery of DBM powder and hypoxia-pretreated BMSCs using an injectable self-healing hydrogel to enhance bone regeneration and repair cranial bone defect in a rabbit model. The results showed that the use of the hydrogel alone could not heal the cranial bone defect, but the hydrogel/DBM/BMSC composite exhibited the best bone defect repairing effects among all groups, demonstrating a promising strategy for bone defect repair.
