Influence of urban morphological characteristics on thermal environment

Summary: The study revealed that in Dalian city, LST shows a strong spatial positive correlation, with buildings mainly being multi-story and high-rise buildings distributed in medium-density areas. LST exhibited the highest positive correlation with FAR and was negatively correlated with SVF, indicating a significant influence of urban morphology on the thermal environment.
