Fabricating yolk-shell structured CoTiO3@Co3O4 nanoreactor via a simple self-template method toward high-performance peroxymonosulfate activation and organic pollutant degradation

Haitao Li et al.

Summary: The novel yolk-shell structured CoTiO3@Co3O4 nanoreactor exhibited high efficiency for PMS activation and showed low cobalt leaching while maintaining almost unchanged catalytic activity in cyclic degradation processes. The possible catalytic mechanism was proposed based on ESR analysis and quenching experiments, and the mineralization degree in the degradation process was found to be 79.5% via TOC analysis. LC/MS was employed to identify intermediates and the corresponding degradation pathway was elucidated, demonstrating that the CoTiO3@Co3O4 nanoreactor was highly efficient in activating PMS for degradation of various recalcitrant organic pollutants.

Rapid simultaneous removal of cationic dyes and Cr(vi) by boron cluster polyaniline with a target site

Xue Li et al.

Summary: The stable physicochemical properties of PA/B12, obtained by an ion exchange technique combining PA and B12, allow for rapid kinetic adsorption and complete removal of Cr(vi) and cationic dye pollutants at low concentrations. The reversible adsorption/desorption process demonstrates the practical industrial value of PA/B12.
