Summary: The magnetic properties of BaCuTe2O6 were studied and found to be similar to SrCuTe2O6, with minor differences possibly due to pressure changes caused by Sr/Ba substitution. The magnetic transition temperature of BaCuTe2O6 is relatively insensitive to magnetic dilution.
