Pt nanoparticles encapsulated on V2O5 nanosheets carriers as efficient catalysts for promoted aerobic oxidative desulfurization performance

Summary: In this study, Pt nanoparticles with sizes around 4-5 nm were effectively encapsulated on vanadium pentoxide nanosheets, resulting in a catalyst with excellent catalytic aerobic oxidation performance for deep desulfurization. The catalysts were able to be reused at least seven times, showing great potential for practical applications.
