Long-lived light neutralinos at Belle II

Sourav Dey et al.

Summary: In this study, light neutralinos of mass about 1 GeV produced from tau lepton rare decays at Belle II in the context of R-parity-violating (RPV) supersymmetry were examined. Two benchmark scenarios of single RPV operators were focused on, with Monte Carlo simulations indicating that Belle II can explore regions in the parameter space competitive with other probes. For the lambda(311)' scenario, Belle II can put limits up to two orders of magnitude stronger than the current bounds.

Measurement of the atmospheric νe and νμ energy spectra with the ANTARES neutrino telescope

A. Albert et al.

Summary: This study presents a combined measurement of the energy spectra of atmospheric nu(e) and nu(mu) using the ANTARES neutrino telescope in the high energy range. The analysis focuses on interactions of neutrinos within the detector, yielding electron and muon neutrino fluxes. The results are compared with previous measurements, revealing the energy spectra of atmospheric neutrinos.

Meson production in air showers and the search for light exotic particles

M. Kachelriess et al.

Summary: The decays of mesons produced in cosmic ray induced air showers can lead to a flux of light exotic particles detectable in underground experiments. Energy spectra of light neutral mesons produced in interactions of cosmic ray protons and helium nuclei with air were evaluated using QCD inspired event generators. The resulting fluxes of undecayed mesons were obtained by summing up mesons produced in individual hadronic interactions of air showers, and applied to the reconsideration of millicharged particles created in the electromagnetic decay channels of neutral mesons.

Neutral current neutrino interactions at FASERν

Ahmed Ismail et al.

Summary: FASER nu is expected to record the most energetic laboratory neutrinos ever studied, with the potential to observe neutrino neutral current scattering events. Researchers have demonstrated the use of deep neural networks to measure the neutral current scattering cross section, providing a complementary probe of neutrino nonstandard interactions to other tests such as oscillations and coherent neutrino-nucleus scattering.

R-parity violation and light neutralinos at ANUBIS and MAPP

Herbert K. Dreiner et al.

Summary: This study investigates the long-lived nature of the lightest neutralino in R-parity-violating supersymmetry, leading to displaced vertices in fixed-target and collider experiments, and compares the sensitivity reach of proposed experiments ANUBIS and MoEDAL-MAPP at the LHC with other current and proposed experiments such as ATLAS, CODEX-b, and MATHUSLA. The results show that ANUBIS and MAPP could exhibit complementary or superior sensitivity in these scenarios.
