Multiphase tin equation of state using density functional theory

Daniel A. Rehn et al.

Summary: This study used density functional theory calculations to analyze solid and liquid phases of tin, constructing a multiphase SESAME equation of state. Comparison to experimental data showed a high level of agreement, indicating the usefulness of the constructed equation for hydrodynamics simulations.
