Reduction of leukemic burden via bone-targeted nanoparticle delivery of an inhibitor of C-chemokine (C-C motif) ligand 3 (CCL3) signaling

Marian A. Ackun-Farmmer et al.

Summary: This study demonstrates the important role of CCL3 in regulating the bone marrow microenvironment in the context of leukemia, particularly in a murine model of bcCML. Inhibiting CCL3 signaling through CCR5 antagonism shows promise as a potential therapeutic strategy for restoring normal hematopoiesis and reducing leukemic burden within the BMME.
