Automatic Landslide Inventory Mapping Approach Based on Change Detection Technique With Very-High-Resolution Images

Summary: This letter presents an algorithm for landslide inventory mapping (LIM) based on automatic adaptive region extension using very-high-resolution remote sensing images. The algorithm utilizes k-means clustering to generate training samples for landslide and nonlandslide classes, and applies automatic adaptive region extension to determine the labels of pixels. Experimental results demonstrate the advantages of the proposed approach in improving the performance of LIM with very-high-resolution remote sensing images.

Self-Paced Nonnegative Matrix Factorization for Hyperspectral Unmixing

Summary: This article introduces three self-paced learning based NMF unmixing models that use weighted least-squares losses instead of the least-squares loss in the standard NMF model. By adopting a self-paced learning strategy to adaptively learn weights, the SpNMF models demonstrate better accuracy and robustness in handling different types of noise in hyperspectral data. Gradually enlarging the model set and selecting atoms from easy to complex allows SpNMF to exclude noisy or outlying atoms, resulting in a more robust unmixing model.
