Proteomics-Based Identification of DUB Substrates Using Selective Inhibitors

Jonathan W. Bushman et al.

Summary: DUB inhibitors coupled with mass spectrometry-based proteomics can identify DUB substrates on a proteome-wide scale, as demonstrated in the study of USP7. USP7 substrates were found to be enriched for DNA repair enzymes and E3 ubiquitin ligases, providing valuable insights for the translational development of DUB targeted agents.
