Tissue Engineering 3D Porous Scaffolds Prepared from Electrospun Recombinant Human Collagen (RHC) Polypeptides/Chitosan Nanofibers

Aipeng Deng et al.

Summary: Electrospun recombinant human collagen (RHC)/chitosan nanofibers combined with freeze-dried porous scaffolds were successfully fabricated into 3D nanofibrous scaffolds with high porosity and interconnected porous structure. These scaffolds exhibited good swelling ability, stability, and mechanical strength, showing promising potential for tissue engineering applications.
