Spatial Characterization of Urban Vitality and the Association With Various Street Network Metrics From the Multi-Scalar Perspective

This study in Wuhan, China explores the relationship between street network metrics and urban vitality at different scales, revealing that connectivity plays the largest role in urban vitality (over 40%), with betweenness and closeness explaining roughly 28% each. The findings highlight the importance of considering street configurations in enhancing urban vitality.
