Evaluation of structural, dielectric, magnetic and photocatalytic properties of Nd and Cu co-doped barium hexaferrite

Firdous Bibi et al.

Summary: The micro-emulsion approach was used to fabricate rare earth and transition metal co-doped barium hexaferrite nanoparticles in this study. Characterization by FTIR, XRD, and SEM techniques confirmed the structural and morphological properties of the co-doped materials, which exhibited higher photocatalytic activities and improved magnetic properties compared to the undoped sample. This indicates the potential practical applications of the Nd-Cu co-doped barium hexaferrite sample in environmental remediation.

Impact of the Zr-substitution on phase composition, structure, magnetic, and microwave properties of the BaM hexaferrite

M. A. Darwish et al.

Summary: The rapid development of information technology and the increase in electronic devices have led to various forms of electronic environmental contamination. Microwave absorption materials are crucial for preventing damage from electromagnetic radiation, with balanced wave impedance being a necessary condition for absorbing most incoming radiation. Controlling grain size and magnetic properties of prepared samples play a key role in enhancing microwave radiation absorption, making the studied samples promising materials for electromagnetic shielding applications.
