Angle-resolved Rabi flopping in strong-field dissociation of molecules

Chen-Xi Hu et al.

Summary: The study reveals that Rabi flopping in H-2(+) under strong laser fields results in angle-dependent frequencies, leading to angular nodes and maxima in the dissociative proton momentum distribution. It is found that one-photon dissociation undergoes the alternation of absorbing and emitting one photon, rather than one-off photon absorption.
