This study examines the air temperature and relative humidity in different points on the campus of the Federal University of Espirito Santo, revealing significant variations between these points. The results align with main theories linking human actions to changes in atmospheric elements, particularly air temperature and humidity.
The present study aims to analyze the temperature and relative humidity of the air in the campus of the Federal University of Espirito Santo, located in the Goiabeiras neighborhood, Vitoria (ES). The research was carried out in two distinct schedules: 9 and 15 hours between April 8 and 9, 2015. Data collection of air temperature and relative air humidity was carried out at 18 points inside the campus, through two thermo hygrometers of direct reading type MINIPA-MT214, in shelters made from PVC pipe, associated to the reading of a fixed point and a mobile transect with registration every 10 minutes. The results obtained in the research allowed a set of quite surprising conclusions, since there was a relatively large thermal and hygrometric difference in the different points research space, considering that the research space comprises a relatively small area of the campus. In the end, it was verified that the results corroborate and dialog with the main theories of the currents that identify the human actions as causes of significant transformations in behavior of the elements of the atmosphere, in particular the air temperature and the relative humidity of the air.
