Global oscillation data analysis on the 3ν mixing without unitarity

Zhuojun Hu et al.

Summary: The study of neutrino oscillations without unitarity assumption shows consistency with the standard three-neutrino scheme and can achieve precision to a few percent. The elements related to neutrino (ν(e)) are the most precisely measured, and the measured leptonic CP violation is close to the standard three mixing. The precision of unitarity test is expected to be significantly improved with next-generation neutrino oscillation experiments.

Nonstandard Neutrino Interactions as a Solution to the NOνA and T2K Discrepancy

Sabya Sachi Chatterjee et al.

Summary: The latest data from the NO nu A and T2K long-baseline accelerator experiments show a discrepancy in the determination of the standard CP phase, which may be resolved by considering the existence of complex neutral-current nonstandard interactions (NSIs). This tension could be explained if NSIs of the flavor changing type involving the e - mu or the e - tau sectors with specific couplings are hypothesized. Both experiments point towards the same common value of the standard CP phase in the presence of such NSIs, highlighting a preference for maximal CP violation in the nonstandard sector.

CP-Violating Neutrino Nonstandard Interactions in Long-Baseline-Accelerator Data

Peter B. Denton et al.

Summary: Studying neutrino oscillations in matter provides insight into potential CP-violating nonstandard interactions. By analyzing data from NOvA and T2K experiments, researchers have identified hints of CP-violating NSI with a new complex phase close to maximal, based on the estimated NSI parameters combined with experimental results. Comparisons have been made between long-baseline data and constraints from IceCube and COHERENT.

2020 global reassessment of the neutrino oscillation picture

P. F. de Salas et al.

Summary: The latest global fit analysis of neutrino oscillation data provides more accurate measurements of theta(13), theta(12), Delta m212, and Delta m312 and suggests a preference for the second octant in the atmospheric angle theta(23) with statistical significance. Cosmological measurements show a clear preference for the normal neutrino mass ordering.

Neutrino-4 anomaly: Oscillations or fluctuations?

C. Giunti et al.

Summary: The statistical significance of the large-mixing short-baseline neutrino oscillation signal claimed by the Neutrino-4 collaboration is found to be only about 2.7 sigma, and this result is influenced by the energy resolution of the detector. Through a more reliable simulation, this significance decreases to around 2.2 sigma.

Improved constraints on neutrino mixing from the T2K experiment with 3.13 x 1021 protons on target

K. Abe et al.

Summary: The T2K experiment reports updated measurements of neutrino and antineutrino oscillations using appearance and disappearance channels. Significant improvements have been made to the neutrino interaction model and far detector reconstruction. The data show a weak preference for normal mass ordering and the upper sin(2)theta(13) octant.

Searching for non-unitary neutrino oscillations in the present T2K and NOνA data

Luis Salvador Miranda et al.

Summary: The analysis of the latest T2K and NO nu A data suggests a preference for non-unitary mixing over unitary mixing in the active neutrinos. The combined analysis at 1 sigma CL also favors non-unitarity. The tension between the 2020 data from the two experiments is reduced with non-unitary analysis.

New physics at nuSTORM

Kaustav Chakraborty et al.

Summary: This work investigates the potential of nuSTORM as a probe for new-physics scenarios like sterile neutrinos and nonunitary neutrino mixing matrix. By combining neutral current and charged current events, nuSTORM can help constrain important parameters such as mixing angles related to sterile neutrinos and nonunitarity parameters of the neutrino mixing matrix.
