Dynamic groundwater recharge simulations based on cosmic-ray neutron sensing in a tropical wet experimental basin

Luis Romero Barbosa et al.

Summary: The study assessed the use of CRNS in inversely calibrating soil hydraulic parameters at the field scale to simulate groundwater recharge rates. Results showed that CRNS performed well in estimating field-scale hydrological variables, especially groundwater recharge, in low altitude, tropical wet areas, demonstrating its practicality and advantages over traditional invasive techniques.
