Motivated reasoning when assessing the effects of refugee intake

Summary: This study investigates whether differences in worldview ideology hinder people from objectively interpreting the effect of immigration. The results show clear evidence of motivated reasoning along the lines of worldview ideology, with nationally oriented individuals more likely to make correct assessments compared to globally oriented individuals.
