Spatio-temporal epidemiology of the tuberculosis incidence rate in Iran 2008 to 2018

Summary: The study revealed a decreasing trend in tuberculosis incidence rate in Iran from 2008 to 2018, with the highest rates observed in the southeast and northeast regions. Additionally, Khuzestan Province in the West showed significantly higher rates compared to neighboring provinces. Temporal analysis indicated high-rate and low-rate clusters in 2010-2014 and 2017-2018, while spatio-temporal results showed significant clusters mainly from center to east during the study period.
